I just love mint, in tea, seltzer water & regular tap water.
I planted a few plants last year & they filled in nicely.
When you plant mint into the ground make sure you section it off with a border of some sort as it's very invasive.
I picked a few big stalks, rinsed it then removed the leaves from the stems.
After blotting dry I minced the leaves roughly with my herb chopper.
I placed a generous amount in empty ice cube trays and added some lemon pieces.
After covering with a bit of water I stuck them in the freezer.
I will appreciate having these on hand all winter long!
